Widespread Panic

I live in Maine.  Maine is cold sometimes.  Maine gets snow sometimes.  Maine gets lots of snow sometimes.  Maine does get storms where more than 12-18 inches are projected.  However, this particular time - and maybe others too and I was simply unaware - people decided to raid the grocery store.  Here is a picture that Brian took when he was at the grocery store:

Ok this was the bread aisle.  I would classify this as overreacting.  However, that in and of itself does not qualify this as something that would happen only in Maine.  The qualifying factor is the fact that the frozen section was empty too.  That's right - the foods that require electricity to store and to prepare - were what people "stocked up on" for the big snow storm that they think will disable their electricity.
